This page explains how users of the AstroIndia app can request deletion of their account and associated personal data.

How to Request Data Deletion

If you would like to delete your AstroIndia account and personal data, please send an email to:

Please use the subject line:

In your email, please include:

• Your full name
• Your registered mobile number or email address used in the AstroIndia app
• A short message confirming that you want your account and personal data deleted

Example:

“I request deletion of my AstroIndia account and all associated personal data.”

What Happens After You Submit a Request

After we receive your data deletion request, we may contact you to verify your identity and confirm the account details.

Once verified, we will delete or anonymize your personal data from our active systems, unless we are required to retain certain information for legal, security, fraud prevention, accounting, tax, dispute resolution, or regulatory compliance purposes.

Data That May Be Deleted

Depending on your account activity, the data deleted may include:

• Account profile information
• Contact details such as email address or phone number
• Birth details provided for horoscope, kundli, or astrology services
• App activity data associated with your account
• Saved preferences and related account information

Data That May Be Retained

Some information may be retained where necessary for legitimate business, legal, tax, regulatory, fraud prevention, security, or dispute resolution purposes.

For example, transaction records, invoices, payment confirmations, consultation history, or support communications may be retained where legally required.

Processing Time

We aim to process verified data deletion requests within 30 days of receiving all required information.

In some cases, it may take longer if additional verification is required or if retention is required by law.
