This Privacy Policy governs how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you use the AstroIndia mobile application and website (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not use the Platform.
The Platform is operated by SAHIL KOHLI HUF (“we”, “us”, “our”), located at E‑279, Industrial Area, Phase 8A, Sector 75, Mohali, Punjab – 160055.

• “Account” means your registered user account on the Platform.

• “Services” means consultations, chat/call sessions, astrological reports, wallet top‑ups and other features offered by the Platform.
• “Wallet” means the prepaid balance account on the Platform for paying for Services.

1 Information you provide
When you register for an Account or use the Services, we may collect personal and sensitive information including (but not limited to):
• Your name, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth
• Your email address, phone number
• Payment information (for wallet top‑up or Services), transaction history
• Any content you provide during a chat/call with an Astrologer (for example your questions, details you share)
• Profile preferences, device registration data

We may also collect certain information automatically when you use the Platform, such as:
• Your IP address, device type, operating system, browser type
• Usage data like pages accessed, time spent, interaction details
• Location information (if you grant permission)
• Cookies, web beacons, tracking technologies
Use of Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
• To provide and manage your Account and the Services you request.
• To process payments, manage your Wallet and Service charges.
• To connect you with Astrologers, facilitate chat/call sessions and maintain session records.
• To improve and personalize the Platform, including features, content and user interface.
• To send you service‑related communications (for example confirmations, receipts, updates).
• To comply with legal obligations, detect, prevent and address fraud, security or technical issues.
• For marketing and promotional purposes, if you have consented to receive such communications.
Disclosure of Your Information
We may disclose your information under the following circumstances:
• To our service providers (for example payment gateways, hosting providers, analytics services) who assist us in operating the Platform, with appropriate confidentiality obligations.
• To Astrologers with whom you have booked consultations, for the purpose of providing the Service (subject to your consent).
• To law enforcement or regulatory authorities when required by law or to protect our rights, property or safety of our users or others.
• In connection with a business transaction such as merger, sale, transfer, or acquisition of our business assets (with appropriate data handling).
• With your consent or at your direction.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to gather information about your usage of the Platform, to provide features and functionality, to enable log‑in and security, and to deliver content and advertising. You may decline cookies via your browser/device settings, but doing so may affect your ability to use certain features of the Platform.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard your User Data from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100 % secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We will retain your User Data for as long as your Account remains active or as needed to provide you Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, we will securely delete or anonymise your data.

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we discover that a child under 18 has provided us personal information, we will delete it as soon as possible.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date and post the updated policy on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes will constitute your acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute relating to this Privacy Policy or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mohali, Punjab.
