Astroindia App Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your access to and use of the website, mobile applications and other services (collectively, the “Platform”) of AstroIndia, operated by SAHIL KOHLI  HUF, a Hindu Undivided Family, having its registered address at E‑279, Industrial Area, Phase 8A, Sector 75, Mohali, Punjab – 160055 (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By registering for or using the Platform in any way, you (“you”, “User”) agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Wallet Terms and all other policies incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform.

 

 

Definitions

In these Terms:

  • “Account” means the account created by you on the Platform to access or use the Services.

  • “User Data” means all information, content and materials provided by you when you register or use the Services.

  • “Astrologer” means an individual professional who provides consultations via the Platform and is independent of the Company.

  • “Services” means all services offered via the Platform, including but not limited to online chat consultations, voice or video call consultations with Astrologers, astrological reports, premium packages, wallet top‑ups or any other service.

  • “Wallet” means the digital/pre‑paid account on the Platform through which you can pre‑pay to use Services.

  • “Transaction” means any top‑up, payment, deduction, or charge made via your Account or Wallet for Services.

  • “Content” means any text, images, audio, video, reports, remedies, messages or other material provided on the Platform by Astrologers or the Company.

 

 

Eligibility & Registration

2.1. You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age (or above the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have full legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

2.2. You must register and create an Account on the Platform to use the Services. You agree to provide complete, accurate, current and updated registration information.

2.3. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your Account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach.

2.4. We reserve the right to verify your identity, refuse registration, suspend or terminate your Account if the information provided is inaccurate, misleading, or if you violate these Terms.

 

 

Description of Services

3.1. The Platform connects Users with Astrologers who provide consultations via chat and calls, and also offers premium content such as astrological reports, gemstone recommendations and remedies.

3.2. The Platform offers a free first chat or call consultation to new Users. This free consultation is available once per new User and is subject to Company policy. Misuse of this offer (including creation of multiple Accounts) may lead to suspension or termination of your access.

3.3. Paid Services are offered on a per‑minute or lump‑sum basis as displayed on the Platform. Rates may vary by Astrologer and Service type.

3.4. All Services are provided for personal, spiritual or entertainment purposes only. The Company does not offer medical, legal, financial or psychological advice. You acknowledge that any decisions based on the Services are your sole responsibility.

3.5. Your access to and use of the Platform may be subject to availability, applicable network or device requirements, and the quality of your internet or telecommunications connection.

 

 

Wallet, Payments & Top‑Up

4.1. Users may top‑up their Wallet using methods permitted on the Platform. Wallet funds are pre‑paid, non‑interest bearing, and may only be used to purchase Services on the Platform.

4.2. Wallet funds are non‑transferable, non‑withdrawable, and generally non‑refundable except as specifically provided in the Refund Policy.

4.3. You shall be responsible for all Transactions made via your Account or Wallet, including any unauthorized use unless caused by our gross negligence.

4.4. We may set minimum or maximum recharge limits, restrict payment methods, suspend or modify the Wallet service at our discretion.

4.5. We use third‑party payment gateways. You agree to the terms of those providers and understand that we are not responsible for delays, failures or security breaches of third‑party payment systems.

 

 

Pricing & Charges

5.1. The price for each Service will be displayed on the Platform before purchase. You agree to pay all applicable charges for Services you request.

5.2. Rates for Astrologers and Services may change at any time and without prior notice. Changes will take effect when posted on the Platform.

5.3. You are responsible for any telecommunications or data charges incurred (for example if you engage in a call via mobile network or internet). The Company is not responsible for such charges.

 

 

Cancellation & Refunds

6.1. Once you commence a paid consultation (chat or call) with an Astrologer, you acknowledge that no refund will be issued.

6.2. Refunds may be considered only if the Service fails to commence due to technical fault on our Platform or the Astrologer fails to attend, and you submit a request to support within 24 hours of the incident.

6.3. Refunds, if approved, will be credited back to your Wallet.

6.4. Refunds will not be granted for dissatisfaction with the advice given, changes in your personal data or decisions taken post consultation.

6.5. Abuse of the free first chat/call offer, Wallet, or multiple Account creation may lead to forfeiture of the offer and termination of your Account without refund.

 

 

User Conduct

7.1. You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

7.2. You shall not:

  • Create multiple Accounts to abuse any offers;

  • Harass, threaten, abuse, insult or misuse Astrologers or other Users;

  • Upload or transmit obscene, defamatory, infringing or illegal content;

  • Impersonate any person or falsify your identity or personal data;

  • Interfere with, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other users’ Accounts;

  • Use the Platform to offer or provide third‑party services outside the Platform.

     7.3. We reserve the right to monitor your use of the Platform and suspend or terminate your Account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

 

 

Astrologers & Third‑Party Services

8.1. Astrologers providing Services via the Platform are independent professionals and not employees or agents of the Company.

8.2. We perform vetting and screening of Astrologers to the extent practical, but we make no warranties or guarantees regarding their background, experience, predictions or outcomes.

8.3. You acknowledge that astrological advice is interpretive and that results may vary. We disclaim all liability for decisions you make based on such advice.

8.4. The Platform may rely on third‑party services (payment gateways, telecommunication services, chat/call infrastructure etc.). We are not responsible for failures or delays caused by third‑party services.

 

 

Intellectual Property

9.1. All rights, title and interest in the Platform, software, design, graphics, content, trademarks, logos and all other intellectual property (“IP”) are owned or licensed by the Company.

9.2. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reuse, republish, sell or exploit any portion of the IP without our prior written consent.

9.3. If you provide content to the Platform (e.g., chat messages, feedback), you grant the Company a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, modify and display such content.

 

 

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

10.1. The Platform and Services are provided on an “as‑is” and “as‑available” basis. We do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted, error‑free, secure or meet your specific requirements.

10.2. We expressly disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non‑infringement and accuracy of predictions.

10.3. In no event shall the Company, its directors, officers, employees or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages whatsoever (including loss of profits, data, goodwill) arising from or in connection with your use of the Platform or reliance on the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10.4. Our total liability to you for all claims in aggregate shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us for the Services in the last thirty (30) days.

 

 

Modification & Termination

11.1. We reserve the right to modify, add or remove portions of these Terms or any Service at any time, with or without prior notice. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

11.2. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform, your Account or Services without prior notice if you breach these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

11.3. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Platform, and we may delete your Account and User Data. Termination will not relieve you of obligations accrued prior to termination or those which by their nature survive (such as indemnities, confidentiality, IP rights, limitation of liability).

 

 

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless SAHIL KOHLI HUF, its officers, directors, employees, agents and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

  • Your violation of these Terms;

  • Your use of the Platform;

  • Any of your content or User Data;

  • Your infringement of any third‑party rights;

  • Any decision you make based on the Services.

 

 

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mohali, Punjab, India.

 

 

Notices

14.1. We may send you notices by email, push notification or via the Platform. Notices are deemed delivered 24 hours after being sent to the email address or mobile number you provided.

14.2. You must promptly update your contact information in your Account or notify us if changed.

Miscellaneous

15.1. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be construed so as to give effect to the parties’ intention, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15.2. No waiver by the Company of any right or provision under these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such right or provision.

15.3. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy and Wallet Terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the Platform and Services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals (whether oral or written, electronic or otherwise).

15.4. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without the Company’s prior written consent. We may assign or transfer ours at any time without restriction.

15.5. Headings used in these Terms are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
