Some planets are good (benefic planets) and bring happiness, wisdom, and success. Some planets are troublesome. They can cause problems, delays, and struggles.
To understand what will happen when four planets sit together, we follow three simple steps:

Arrange the planets from strongest to weakest (benefic to malefic).

Make two pairs (1st & 4th planet and 2nd & 3rd planet).

See which planets are getting hurt and how it affects life.
Step 1: Arranging the Planets from Good to Bad
Let’s take the example kundali from my video where Jupiter, Venus, Ketu, and Sun are together in Cancer (Rashi number 4).
We arrange them from most good (benefic) to most bad (malefic):

Jupiter (Most Benefic – strongest and brings wisdom, luck, and good fortune)

Venus (Benefic – brings love, beauty, and success)

Sun (Neutral – neither fully good nor fully bad)

Ketu (Most Malefic – causes confusion and hidden problems)
Step 2: Making Two Pairs
To understand the effect of these planets, we divide them into two pairs:

Pair 1: Jupiter & Ketu

Pair 2: Venus & Sun
Now we check what happens when they are paired together.
Step 3: Who Suffers in Each Pair?
In astrology, when a good planet is placed with a bad planet, the good planet suffers. Let’s see what happens in each pair:
Pair 1: Jupiter & Ketu

Jupiter is the most benefic planet, bringing wisdom, success, and positivity.

Ketu is a shadow planet. It brings detachment, confusion, and unpredictability.

Since Jupiter is good and Ketu is bad, Ketu’s energy weakens Jupiter. This means the person may struggle to find clear direction in life, feel lost, or face challenges in education and career.
Pair 2: Venus & Sun

Venus brings love, happiness, and wealth.

Sun represents power, ego, and authority.

Since Venus is good and Sun is neutral but powerful, the Sun’s energy weakens Venus. This means the person might struggle with relationships. They could also face financial ups and downs. They might also struggle to find personal happiness.
What Happens When the Lagna and Moon Are Weak?
After checking these planetary pairs, we need to see if the Lagna (Ascendant) and Moon are strong or weak.

Lagna (Ascendant) controls a person’s entire life. If it is weak, the person may feel less confident and face difficulties in life.

Moon controls emotions and mind. If it is weak, the person may have mood swings, stress, and emotional struggles.
In the example kundali:

Venus is the Lagna Lord (First House Lord). Since Venus is suffering in the pair with Sun, the Lagna becomes weak, making life harder.

Moon is also weak because it is conjunct with Mandi (a malefic planet) and is getting an aspect from Saturn. A weak Moon means the person may feel mentally disturbed, stressed, or unhappy.
When both Lagna and Moon are weak, a person faces challenges in many parts of life. This includes issues in their career, relationships, and mental peace.
How to Check This in Your Own Kundali?

Get your birth chart (kundali) online by entering your birth date, time, and place.

Arrange the planets from strongest to weakest (benefic to malefic).

Check if the good planets are getting affected by the bad ones.

See if the Lagna and Moon are strong or weak.
